1. Download the latest version of the Theme Installer
Log into your account and visit the Downloads page (“My Services” > “Downloads). You will see a list of downloads associated with your license purchases. Locate your Blesta Theme purchase and locate the Theme Installer download.
If you cannot download any files, your access to support and downloads has expired. You will need to renew your subscription to gain access. If you believe this is in error, please open a support request.
2. Unzip the download to your local machine
After downloading the Theme Installer, unzip the files compressed onto your local machine. You can use many different tools to handle this, and both Windows and Macs have built-in uncompression tools. For a guide on how to unzip a file, please check out this wikiHow article: https://www.wikihow.com/Unzip-a-File
3. Replace the plugin files in your Blesta installation
Once your ZIP file has been extracted, you can upload the plugin files to your Blesta installation. The best way to do this would be to use your favorite FTP client.
In the Theme Installer folder, look for the “upload” folder. Upload the contents of the “upload” directory, not the folder itself, to the root directory of your Blesta installation (only the contents of the “upload” directory). This will add the necessary plugin files into the appropriate folders so that Blesta will recognize a new plugin is available for activation.
4. Update the Blesta Theme Installer plugin
Once all of the files for the Theme Installer plugin have been replaced, it’s time to log in to your Blesta admin account to update the plugin. Navigate to the route for your Blesta admin panel and log in to your account. Click on the “Settings” option in the upper right-hand corner. Under the “Company” tab, click on the “Plugins” option. Locate the “SwiftModders Blesta Theme Installer” plugin and click the “Upgrade” button.
When the update is complete, you will see a message stating it has been completed successfully. If you are presented with an error, please copy the error message and open a support request with your details.
Congrats! You’ve successfully updated the SwiftModders Blesta Theme Installer plugin.
