We’re pleased to announce that all SwiftModders WHMCS themes now support WHMCS 9.0.3. We know this update has been a long time coming, and we want to take a moment to acknowledge that before getting into the details.

A Note on the Delay

When we posted last year, we said we wouldn’t be rushing WHMCS 9 support, and we meant it. That said, this took longer than even we anticipated. A mid-cycle refactor of the Theme Installer, a few long-term client contracts, and the loss of a close friend all contributed to the delay. We appreciate your patience more than we can say.

What’s New

This release updates all three SwiftModders WHMCS themes for full WHMCS 9.0.3 compatibility:

Theme Installer 2.0.0 is Required

Before updating your themes, you must first update the Theme Installer to version 2.0.0. This is a significant release; a deep refactor with a number of meaningful additions and improvements:

Child Theme support—customize your theme without touching the original files. See the WHMCS Child Themes documentation for background on how child themes work in WHMCS. We’ll be publishing our own documentation shortly.
One-click auto-updater—replaces the old multi-step update process
New SwiftModders icon picker—a cleaner, faster replacement for the old FontAwesome picker
Inactive license badge—quickly spot themes with expired or missing licenses
Upgraded to FontAwesome 6
Refreshed module UI—updated theme cards, settings panels, and action bars throughout
Smoother license and settings handling—improved export/import and cleaner overall flow

PHP 8.2 Required

As with WHMCS 9, Theme Installer 2.0.0 requires at least PHP 8.2. Please confirm your hosting environment meets this requirement before updating.

How to Get the Update

The Theme Installer will automatically notify you of available updates. Update the Theme Installer to 2.0.0 first, then proceed with your theme updates. Visit the changelog for full release details on each product.
