1. Change your admin template
Before uninstalling one of our WHMCS themes, it is always a great idea to change your admin account “Template” back to something currently installed. To do so, you’ll need to log into your WHMCS admin portal and navigate to “Your Name” > “My Account.”
Changing your “Template” back to “Blend” would be the safe option. If you are switching to another theme, choose it from the list here. Do not forget to re-upload the default “login.tpl” file under your admin folder to return your WHMCS login screen to the default.
2. Uninstall the theme via the Theme Installer
While still in the WHMCS admin portal, navigate to “Addons” > “SwiftModders WHMCS Theme Installer.” You will see the “SwiftModders WHMCS Admin Theme” as one of your installed themes with an option to “Uninstall.” Click on the “Uninstall” button to start the process.
The uninstall process automatically drops any specific MySQL database tables for the theme. Once completed, you will see a success message stating that the theme has been uninstalled. If you encounter an error, please open a support request.
3. Remove the theme files from your server
This is not necessarily a step you must complete, but keeping your WHMCS installation clean is recommended. The theme has a few files and folders you can remove at your discretion:
/whmcsroot/youradminfolder/templates/swiftmodders_v5/
/whmcsroot/modules/addons/swiftmodders/configs/swiftmodders_v5.json
/whmcsroot/modules/addons/swiftmodders/themes/swiftmodders_v5/
The best way to remove these files and folders is to load up your favorite FTP client or control panel file manager.
Hopefully, this will not be the last time we see you, and you will consider using SwiftModders in the future for your web development needs. Thank you for your support!
