Happy Holidays to you and yours! It’s been a great year for SwiftModders, LLC, and I am so excited to see what 2020 holds. As we head into the new year, I wanted to share with you some changes that will be taking place starting on January 1st.
Licensing Restructure & Pricing Changes
I have been using the same pricing structure for quite some time, and as I’ve looked around at some of my competitors, I’ve noticed some gaps in my offerings. I want to ensure that SwiftModders, LLC is around for a long-long time, and I believe the following license structure will do just that. Each available theme will come with three distinct licenses you can purchase:
- Single Domain License
- Unlimited Domain License
A single-domain license will allow you to install your theme on one (1) domain name. If you happen to have multiple WHMCS installations under a single domain, it will enable you to install the theme on all of them. This does not count for sub-domains. An unlimited domain license will allow you to install the theme on any domain you want. There is no limit on your license for as long as it is active. Lastly, the owned license is similar to the unlimited domain license, but it does not have any renewal fees associated with it. This means you own the license for the lifetime of the product, as long as you do not violate the License Agreement.
Unlike the old pricing model, the new pricing model will offer “support and updates” renewal at the original price of the theme you’ve purchased. For example, if you’ve purchased the SwiftModders WHMCS Admin Theme, your support and updates renewal fee will be $35 per year. If you choose not to renew, you will still retain access to the theme, but you will not be able to download the latest release, and you will not receive technical support.
Due to the license restructuring, the following theme(s) have had minor price increases:
- Allure WHMCS Theme owned license has increased from $325 to $350.
How does this impact me?
It doesn’t! These changes will only impact new purchases on or after January 1, 2020. You will be grandfathered into the original renewal fees and will not have to pay a cent more for as long as your license is active. Keep in mind that this does not apply for any new theme purchases you make.
As always, if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out. Thank you so much for your business!
